For too long the electorate -- that's you and I my friends -- have allowed politicians from both major political parties to be co-opted by big business and special interest groups, to the detriment of the middle class and the poor in America. Time for Real Change in Washington, D.C. -- By Bud Koenemund --I am sad to say that we no longer have a government, "Of the people, by the people, and for the people."Unfortunately, we haven't had such a government for years, and I have been too blinded by patriotism to say it. I have lived by the belief that the United States is the greatest county in the world. Our system of government, set forth in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, is the most perfect to be found on earth. And I still believe that.The problem in America, however, is not with the system itself, but with the people running the system.
