THE LOVEBUCKLES
Springing up from the sprawling industrial wastes of northern Brisbane, The LoveBuckles are the bottled essence of four guys playing music, in a garage, at a party, battling to be heard over the fifty-or-more drunken teenagers stumbling about. From 2005 onwards, Frank’n’Brady have decided to use their combined lyrical and musical powers for good, not lame. Eventually a full lineup was settled upon, with local newsagent provocateur Aaron’s guitar lines being deemed awesome, and Matt’s drums being deemed necessary for the band’s survival.
After a year of soul-and-name- searching, Phosphorus Bill's Psychedelic Bubblegum Factory was discarded, due to most people not being able to spell 'phosphorus', 'psychedelic', or 'bill'. After a long period spent incognito (with 'PBPBF', 'The Flaming Ponies', 'Israeli Air Force' and others being consigned to the rubbish pile), The LoveBuckles was decided upon.
