GEEBAN DEATH MONKEYS PESTILENCE HELLO THERE!

About Me

All our songs are available for voting on Triple J Unearthed. If you like what you hear, and even if you don't, and you have a few seconds, please head over to http://www.triplejunearthed.com/geeban and drop a few choice compliments, or insults!

Oh NOES! The Robot Monster has been sent to Earth as the advance party of an impending invasion. Ordered by The Great One to capture several geebans, the Robot Monster becomes confused once it learns more about geebans. What will become of geebankind?!

Luckily for earth, four individuals have stepped up to counter this threat. Utilising the power of a series of mechanical compressions and rarefactions or longitudinal waves, Dave, Josh, Derek and Darragh have composed weapons of mass geek rock destruction to repel the Robot Monster and bring peace the the galaxy.

In its current incarnation, Geeban have been playing for on and off for around a year with the current lineup. Dave and Darragh moonlighted in what was known as the Dave Kelso All-Stars. Soon realising that they required a man with adventurous bass skills, they enlisted the assistance of bizarre pants wearing bassist and that man was Josh Donellan. They combined their power crystals and Geeban were born. After a few small gigs, they drafted Derek The Destroyer Fernandez to provide the keyboard melodies.

After a small hiatus due to traveling commitments, Geeban have reformed in an attempt to bring geek rock to Brisbane music scene.

A visitor to our Triple J Unearthed profile (http://www.triplejunearthed.com/Artists/View.aspx?artistid= 1529) had this to say about their signature tune Gotta Get Good to Get Gigs to Get Girls

What do you get if you cross Regurgitator with a Commodore 64 then inject the offspring with the blood of Carter USM? Geeban, that's what.

I guess thats pretty accurate.
