…born in Melbourne, Australia, Con has been playing drums for more than 18 years, beginning his life-long quest, as any serious percussionist does…banging pots and pans. Con's first introduction at an impressionable young age was his all time hero "Animal" from the Muppets. As he grew, Con graduated to using pencil cases, lunchboxes and rulers, and honestly…he still hasn’t shaken the pots and pans habit. Fuelled by his natural sense of rhythm…and being floored by the energy of Peter Criss (Kiss) and Nicko McBrain ( Iron Maiden) he was inspired to beg for a drum

..Con’s drumming career began at 14 years old and by the age of 17 he was playing live in venues around Melbourne, Australia, performing and recording with various original, progressive and cover outfits at prominent Clubs and studio’s. His experience stretches into professional teaching, including colleges, Ron Leigh’s Music Factory, Melbourne( which has a reputable 30 year contribution to the education of Melbourne’s finest musicians), private lessons and clinics, with an impressive number of students of all ages and abilities, including some that have also gone on to become professional musicians. ............................................................
...................................................From an early age Con has had diverse musical interests and influences, ranging from Classical to Heavy Rock, giving a variety of genres in between; from the fields of Jazz, Big Band and Latin to the planes of Dance, Progressive Fusion and Heavy Metal. These were the backbone of his determination to break into and evolve within the world of professional drumming. ............................................................

has been formally trained in the finer aspects of drumming at Drumtek, the leading drum and percussion school, in Melbourne, Australia; advancing his craft under the guidance of Ryan Menezies, Sam Aliano, Pino Bertolini, Justin Humphries, Damian Corniola and very helpful technique suggestions with Alex Deegan. Master studies with Frank Corniola and Graham Morgan, including Master-Classes with Jim Piesse, Darryn Farrugia, Will Kennedy and Virgil Donati, developing a vast range of musical styles, technique and musicianship. ............................................................

He is currently in demand with a variety of projects, working with original artists, bands and covers.
