Exile

Exile are a four piece band born in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne that play original rock. The band, originally a 5 piece made the change to a four piece late 2005 which provided an opportunity to develop a new creative direction in their music. The band formed in late 2000, the members being brothers Warren and Brad, and classical cellist turned bass player Alicia. After a series of vocalists were tried the trio were joined by extrovert lead vocalist Suzy Ferguson in October 2004. Suzy, being a professional actor in film and T.V., didn’t take long to fit in and the scene was set. Exile’s music is described as original, modern, energetic rock music. Their sound has been likened to No Doubt, Killing Heidi, Magic Dirt and Superjesus. Influences from such bands as Crossfade/Kiss/Nickelback etc. Exile play at venues everywhere from packed pubs and overcrowded clubs to bars and competitions. They have extensive stage experience having performed at venues all over Melbourne. The band now also has a six track demo recorded at the Jam Tin studios in Cheltenham in June 2006. Exile are serious about their music – their energy and experience combined with a broad and diverse repertoire provide a memorable experience.
