About Me
Think hard riffs, dirty lyrics, big solos.
Think hair flingin’, beer slingin’ good times.
Think rock n' roll.
Think…
THE DEEP END
Like so many rock greats before them, starting off as a drunken idea by two mates and gradually developing into a full blown rockin’ and rollin’ Aussie rock band, The Deep End, started in the garage and at parties playing the music of their rock n’ roll idols.
After shifting their focus to writing their own tunes, the 5 mates from the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne are now firing on all cylinders and have gone on to play some of Melbourne’s great venues such as Ding Dong Lounge, Hifi Bar, The Espy and Revolver Upstairs, as well as shows with Aussie rock legends The Angels, Hoodoo Guru’s and The Screaming Jets. However, most remember The Deep End as “that†band from St. Kilda Festival in February 2008.
They're not here to warn you about global warming, start a new fashion trend or write depressing bullshit about life being a dark abyss, no fucking way.. They're doin' it for REAL rock n’ roll and it's this that's aided by their adrenaline fuelled, old school, no bullshit approach that continues to push the boys to bring back the good times where there’s no such thing as ‘too loud’, ‘too drunk’ or ‘too hard’, and they're leaving behind stoked fans grinning ear to ear in their wake.
The name 'The Deep End' holds no specific meaning - but ask just any of the boys, if you are going to perform for people, throw yourself in ‘The Deep End’ and make sure you put on a fuckin’ show!
So, if you haven’t yet seen The Deep End in action, then get on down to one of their shows, find yourself a spot right up the front, and get ready to rock! It’s easily the most fun you can have with your pants on!
