This book applies to all modern western wars. Everyone should read it and think twice about war and what a farce it is. Now that we've changed Congress, it is time to get out of the sham that is Iraq

Many people are not interested in politics and that is fair enough. But people who think that whoever is in power and the policies they carry out do not affect them, are dead wrong. In 2004, Bush won the state of Ohio and by doing so won the election. The people of Ohio made a drastic mistake because the policies of George Bush have cost many jobs in a heavily manufacturing based economy. The people of Ohio were deceived into voting against their interests and continue to see the consequences as more and more manufacturing jobs get shipped overseas. In 06' Ohio woke up and changed courses for the better in their state!
Movies:
There are many hypocricies in our government and society. Our government claims to want to spread democracy and at the same time supports tyrannical regimes like "Borat's" Kazakhstan because they support our agenda.
Many who claim to be pro-life are in reality pro-choice because they make decisions that result in death. Decisions like striking down stem cell research to help fight diseases and recklessly going to war that results in the deaths of hundreds of thousands. We are not hated in this world because we "love freedom!" Lucky for us, most foreigners distinguish between the policies of our government and ourselves as individuals. This is fortunate because it might be very unsafe to travel otherwise.
Television:
Now that the 06’election is over and the race for 08’has begun, Sirened is proud to announce it's endorsement for P.K Winsome for President! Woohoo! P.K is just the sort of smooth talking, manipulative man we need as our next president! If we raise enough money we can see him running attack ads very soon!

The books that have forecast our "democracy" to evolve into tyranny are scarily ringing true. With our phone conversations monitored, computers monitored and civil liberties slowly stripped away we as a nation are in a decline. We are being led by a dictator who is CEO of all businesses. Bush's entire agenda is aimed to lift big business and the corporate elite while impoverishing the middle and lower classes. It is not so dissimilar to the Robber Barron days of Rockefeller and Standard Oil.
Heroes:
Anybody who has stood up to injustices and made a significant difference in society. Every human soul can make a small impact, particularly when acting as a collective that demands justice in our increasingly unjust government.
