Pam Lyn King & The Royal Ruckus

Quit makin' all that RUCKUS! (Not likely).

About Me

If the ground is shaking and rolling in Southern California, it may not be an earthquake. It may just be the hottest up-and-coming Country/Southern Rock band, Pam Lyn King & The Royal Ruckus. To describe their sound; Take two cups of Trick Pony, one cup of Shania Twain, and a spoonful of Loretta Lynn. Then toss it in a pot and set the damn thing on fire. Whether you’re downin’ beers at a local honky-tonk and want rowdy, high-energy, attitude-charged Country, or romancing by the fire and prefer soft, vulnerable truths of the human condition, Pam Lyn King & The Royal Ruckus is what you need.
Pam Lyn King & The Royal Ruckus have a rockin' style that blends the Classic Rock influence of Pat Benetar with the contemporary Country sounds of Sara Evans, Martina McBride and Faith Hill, and the classic characteristics of Johnny Cash and Loretta Lynn, all while maintaining a style and sound all their own. The music is refreshingly honest and as it spans the emotional spectrum, anyone young or old will find a way to identify with Pam Lyn King & The Royal Ruckus.
Excommunicated by her family for choices she made as an adult, the artist formerly known as Pam Scheller rose from the ashes of her former life to find a new strength and freedom to write and sing about the things many women think, but few are able to admit. Songs like "That’s Love", "Beautiful", and "All That I Am" will take you on a sonic journey of heart-felt emotion. Women and men alike will relate to the tumultuous inspirations for "Forbidden", "Come Back to My Heart", and "Open Road". And if you’re looking for laughs, positive messages, or just some good rockin’ fun, songs like "Piece of This", "Unexpected", "You Don't Know Jack", and "Who Do You Think You’re Foolin’" have you covered. Oh, and of course we can't forget "The NASCAR SONG".
Born into a family of musicians, Pam Lyn King grew up singing in church and spent her childhood perfecting classical piano. It was in college that she made the decision to pursue a career in music as a performer. Ever since, Pam Lyn has surrounded herself with great musicians of different musical backgrounds to create a rockin' live band that could easily be the next big thing in music. With Jackson Allen’s hard driving guitar, Joe Petty’s intricate bass, and Ty Key’s thunderous drums, Pam Lyn King & The Royal Ruckus earn their reputation as a high-energy, emotionally charged collective.
Pam Lyn and the boys possess an evocative vocal style and visually stimulating stage presence that push their compositions over the top, leaving the audience eagerly wanting more. Listen to one song and you quickly realize that you have the complete package of talent and showmanship that will be an everlasting success.
Pam Lyn and the boys have backgrounds in Country, Southern, Classic, and Alternative Rock, Jazz, and Classical music. Each member has been in music their entire lives easily seen in the quality of musicianship and talent and they pride themselves on bringing an unparalleled level of professionalism to every performance. The band performs a mix of contemporary Country hits as well as Country Classics, Southern and Classic Rock favorites, and original songs.
Family friendly without being boring, mature and sexy without being too risqué, Pam Lyn King & The Royal Ruckus have created the perfect balance. Prepare yourself for the musical ride of your life. Pam Lyn King & The Royal Ruckus are stars on the rise.
