About Me

Winston Smith is a fictional character created by George Orwell for his novel Nineteen Eighty-Four . In the book, Winston works at the Ministry of Truth — commonly known as Minitrue. The Ministry of Truth did the opposite of what its name implies, being responsible for the falsification of historical events to always portray the ruling Party in a positive light.

Why am I telling you this? The story of Big Brother, of Newspeak, and of the ThoughtPolice is relevant today. It's spooky sometimes.

I run the Ministry of Truth , a satirical news website that takes the world of Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four and updates it with a skewed look at today's news.
