I feel this GST on femimine hygiene products is unfair and must be abolished! I felt that this would be the best way to make women aware of this and to talk about it and maybe make a difference. WE SHOULD NOT BE TAX FOR BEING A WOMAN!!! So please think about this everytime you go to the store every month for the next 30 years to pay tax on your tampons! ***-Discover the rich history of menstruation and women's health on this Web site http://www.mum.org/

"THE STORY OF THE TAMPONS (dedicated to the drunk lady who tried to smack Ninjoelspy in the face during a show in Kenora) Let me tell you a little story about tampons. You see, our world, mother earth, is a beautiful woman. It is our duty as humankind to act as steward to her, to take care of her, so that we can live on together, survive together. And in order to perpetuate prosperity and a viable existence we need to plant good seeds in her womb. We need to impregnate her with good things so that she can give birth to new life that can continue once we are gone. By doing good things for her, paying attention to her and treating her well we plant these good seeds. But we have predominantly spent most of our precious time planting rotten seeds, neglecting her, filling her with our poisons and pollution and carelessness and selfishness and hence, failing to impregnate her, she periodically menstruates magma and hot flashes floods. She howls out hurricanes, tsunamis and headaches earthquakes. In the vengeful agony of her pre-menstrual stress she lashes out at us for our inattention. And the menstrual mess that's left is the pollution, destruction, hate, waste and deterioration that we've created with our lack of care. And the only thing left to clean up these messes we've made, are the good intentions of a few good people who don't waste, hate, rape and take. These good intentions are the TAMPONS, diligently mopping up the horrible wasteful mess. But each tampon has it's capacity, it can only soak up so much of the worlds mess before it is full. And there is so much mess to be mopped up that there are simply not enough tampons to take it all. We are running out of tampons.* "http://www.myspace.com/thetriadinblood
