Bring on the 2pigs!!

About Me

FUSION OF SOUND are promoting monthly nights of live music at The 2 Pigs in Cheltenham. Keep checking back for more information on forthcoming events!
On Thursday 15th February, we welcome Birmingham's FAST REACTION after just playing at TASTE OF CHAOS alongside the likes of Taking Back Sunday, Alexisonfire and Underoath! Signed to ever-expanding Japanese record label Kick Rock Music, it'll only be a matter of time before their catchy pop-punk melodies are recognised on a much larger scale. Check out a track off their self-titled EP in our music player, "Out Of The Race"
"Blimey. Talk about polished. It's not often we get a demo this well produced in at rock sound towers. It's not just their record which screams professionalism here.... this is well done!" 8/10 - Rock Sound
"For my money this is the best unsigned UK band you'll hear this year and you should enjoy them before all the kids are screaming their name"
Luke Hodson, PunkerMentatlity Zine

Channel 4's Popworld Promotes winners PAGE 44, from Redditch in Worcestershire are a regular band on the Fusion of Sound lineups. After five or so dedicated years of writing songs with (incredibly) catchy melodies and beautiful harmonies, the band's work has paid off as they recently won second place in the National Emergenza UK final at The Mean Fiddler in London, being judged by the likes of Sony, Universal and NME. To top it all off, they've just earnt themselves a support slot with Son Of Dork in February!
What genre do they play, you ask? Well, it's impossible to categorise it. Think of a bit of alt rock, mixed with indie and even powerpop..
"...Pop-Rock tunes with brilliant harmonies. Everything about this band works and it's hard not to like them. They are one of those instantly likeable bands and one of the biggest mistakes you could make would not be checking these guys out..." - KILLER DIENAMITE MAGAZINE.
For a taster of how they sound, check out their Popworld Promotes-winning song, "The Grey Room" in our music player! Head over to myspace.com/page44 to listen to some of their latest recordings..

Head over to myspace.com/emoapoeticyesterday to listen to their first four studio recordings, which are awesome, it has to be said!
