About Me

I believe a lot in the music I make and I think that people should hear it.
Here are two quite different gifts to your ears. "For Ghosts" and "Trouble". There are more details about these songs in my blog, so if you're interested look there. I have a lot more songs. But, whilst I love people hearing my music I think that it's good to keep a little back, because of course why would you want more if you get it all so easily.
I play live a lot, so there is absolutely no reason you shouldn't come to one of my shows. I play in the streets, I play in bars, I play in clubs, I play in shops... and I do parties.
If you do listen to my songs, please listen to the words, and think about why.
"An undeniable talent." Rob Champion, BBC Introducing, Gloucestershire
"Evan Burgess subtley blends vocal melodies with diverse chord arrangements to produce a sublime acoustic set. His rich voice, mellow songs and approachable manner are a credit to him, long may he continue his journey" Chris Woodman Uplands Tavern Swansea Acoustic Festival Organiser
"A stunning solo perfomer who creates his own atmosphere that draws in attention." Graham Higgins Castle Night/The Vic Songwriters Night promoter.
