Page 44 are a Pop/rock 4 piece hailing from Redditch in the midlands! They are renound for Catchy melodic tunes and entertaining live shows bursting with energy and charisma on stage.
Burning up the motorways all over the country,for the past 2 years Page 44 have been playing everywhere they can Playing over 180 shows since the start of 2006 they are one of the hardest working and most determined unsigned bands going.
Oustanding song-smithery, dedication and hard-work have contributed to the Page 44 Story thus far. Television and Radio have fallen in love with the band. in summer 2006 they performed on Channel 4's "Popworld", sparking local and national press, as well as being interviewed by Alex Zane and a popworld tour backed and promoted by the channel.
The bands other achievements include being crowned Champions of the midlands Emergenza Live Band competition 2006 and going on to finish Second in the Emergenza UK National Final. The competition, judged by Sony, Universal, Interscope, NME and plenty more big names, took place in front of a packed house at Londons Mean Fiddler with Page 44 grabbing the attention of all 1200 audience members.
More Recently the band were once again crowned the best Unsigned band in the midlands after being hand picked through Hundreds of bands to play a showcase at Carling Academy 2 in Birmingham. The band performed amazingly and won the title of Carling Supports Champions for Birmingham 2007.
The Band's music spans many genres from alternative rock to indie, stopping off, and giving a quick bow to almost every style in-between and this has enabled them to play alongside many top bands of all genres some of the bands Page 44 have shared the stage with are . Boy Kill Boy, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Haunts, Captain Phoenix, The Standards as well as hundreds of amazing unsigned bands
