The Crash Factory Recording Studios

About Me

The Crash Factory is a small but perfectly formed recording studio placed comfortably in Hockley in Nottingham City Centre. We pay little attention to trends and fads in music, trusting our ears to tell us what sounds good rather than relying on our clients' haircuts to be in fashion.
Over the last two years, hordes of artists have made the journey up our stairs to put their various noises together. "So I just sing into this and a CD comes out the other end?"
Yes it does.
Above all, The Crash Factory is a 'real' studio. We have a nice big vintage analogue desk, not a little box of twiddly knobs and flashing screens. We didn't rent a house and glue foam on the walls. We didn't put a computer and some speakers at one end of a barn. We spent months building walls and ceilings and floating floors, calculating the frequency response of the dimensions of our rooms. Lugging bail upon bail of itchy, scratchy rockwool up our stairs. We made it and we love it, and we think you will too.
We charge £160 a day and a day includes everything.
SPECIAL OFFER ALERT! We're currently offering four days for the price of three. That works out at sillycheap prices for enough time to make a great record. You win, we win. Winning all round.
