Page 44 have been selected as one of the 72 finalists out of over 3500 bands to play a Britbus tour showcase gig!!Basically it means, that if they get chosen from the finals they will have the chance to be taken on tour to America, Japan, Australia or India in a double decker London bus!!

If you havn't heard of Page44 'where have you been? 'Being in the top-ten of MySpaces Genoma Unsigned Chart every week since its inception is proof enough of the bands unrivalled song-writing talent. Not content with just topping charts based on unique plays, Page 44s internet presence is unbelievably wide. With a number upwards of 65,000 MySpace fans, most of whom find the band, not vice-versa, the buzz surrounding Page 44 is phenomenal. Its only a matter of time before the bandwagon is rolling way too fast to jump on.

2006 saw Page 44 win the popworld promotes competition in May, beating over 1000 other bands and gaining a spot on The Channel 4 program Popworld, where they were interviewed by Alex Zane as well performing live to over half a million viewers. Page 44 also came 2nd out of over 1000 bands in the national Emergenza live band competition, playing to a packed out London Mean Fiddler. They also crowned the Midlands Champions of Emergenza winning the regional final in a blaze of Page 44 flags, banners and screaming fans.

The original bassist, Paul Bugden left in 2005 and was replaced by Samuel Wilson. The original drummer, Elliot Vaughan had a falling out with the band after they found out he had been calling off practices and gigs by saying he was 'sick' so he could secretly play with another band. he was replaced in 2007, after a quick search for a new drummer Laurent Gillgrass stepped in for a few months,but left the band for uncited reasons. Mark Rabone has just joined them and is offically Page44's new drummer as of Feb 08..

Fans have described Page 44 as "Better than Chocolate", "The friendliest band in the world". Fans have also stated that "These guys deserve to be, and will be...Huge".

Many fans stumble upon Page 44 by accident after downloading a song called "we know the way",(improperly credited to +44) on P2P networks. There notable songs include "The Grey Room", "Walking Wounded", "Broken Hearts & Broken Strings", "Anywhere", "Human traffic", "Watch Me Fade", and "is It My Fault?"

2007 has seen a successful tour of Scotland and many good support slots as well as being one of only a handful of non Welsh bands personally asked to perform at the XFm Festival 24 Festival in Cardiff. About me:
I'm Adam James Vygus BSc, friends call me Viggy. I'm 24 and full time Page 44ist. I sort our gigs, out keep our myspace ticking over, and bug people into listening to us! I have a degree in Chemistry that i plan to do nothing with, ive had my fill of lab coats and goggles! i'm a little overweight but trying to shift it, its a bit difficult as a I love food!!

My name is Adam Stanford I'm 24, On a cold winters day I met Mr Adam Vygus outside the music block at school and he said "We should start a band". We looked at eachother and kissed passionately and then began the awesome band known today as Page 44. My friends mean more to me than oxygen.

Currently studying popular music production at BCU Birmingham.
Into loads of music ranging from 60's rock/pop to Modern indie, rock, dance, nu wave etc
Been playing drums for ten years, love playing live and also enjoy making my own electronic music and producing with other artists in the studio.
