Sounds Like: "I know, I know, it is an odd mix but i have known this group of guys for a good while and they have gone through a fair few changes. it started off with a hardcore punk aspect, moved onto 'emo-core' or so said them in 2005 and now its (according to our beloved myspace) Alternative / Punk / Experimental and although they have never strayed far from their own honest sound and style i think its a fair analysis.
Having said that, the changes in genre very nearly echo this bands ex-members list (atleast four people missing in action) Still Bust seem to just soldier on with absolute energy, persistence and passion and thank fuck they have, they have managed to keep the four key members that create the sound of this explosive sexy four piece and good on them.
To see them live I was excitied because of what I had heard, a few years ago after seeing a few gigs of their i would have not been to bothered, but they seem to have gone from strength to strength, creating an incredible live atmosphere which would make anybody move atleast a few metres.
Although... on Myspace, recordings do a band like this no justice. In this situation, a band of this energy and talent need to be seen live. Their sound is somewhat reminicent of early Hell Is For Heroes but fusing together elements of 80s/90s punk - definately Anti-Flag fit in somewhere, but then again newer bands like Yourcodenameis:milo, an eclectic mix to be sure.
for real proof, see live. "
