Desex or euthanise animal abusers and make the world a better place!

About Me

Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Hendrix flower

I am a very handsome Airedale Terrier/Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross. I was adopted from the Animal Welfare League shelter at Wingfield when I was 9 weeks old. I now live a fun filled life in suburban Adelaide and get out and about on lots of outings. Up until recently I had an ex-stray feline housemate called Scruffy, who I don't think liked me very much as he hissed and swiped at me when I tried to play with him. However, when I left him alone, or if we were both on a joint mission to get food, we got on just fine! Unfortunately Scruffy was found to have a tumour in his left hind leg and became very sick. Scruffy was put to sleep on July 18 2007, aged approximately 8 years. I will miss him very much.

The Smocks are one of the best local bands getting around, be sure to check em out!

My Interests

Chewing things i’m not supposed to, barking at the neighbours, chasing Scruffy the cat, barking at cats in general, going to the dog park, playing with my best friend Jacob the Akita, going to GR8 K9 Training and Behaviour school on the weekend, the RSPCA Million Paws walk (I usually go with my posse Abby the Labrador, Barney the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and Kaiser and Heidi the Schnauzers), going on walks in the linear park or at the beach (especially my monthly Social Club for Dogs walks run by the Adelaide Animal Hospital), and going to visit grandma and grandpa because i like to destroy their yard.

I'd like to meet:

I'd Like to Meet

Dr Harry Cooper, Dr Katrina Warren, Ranger Stacy, other dogs (especially those who have been adopted from shelters) and their human companions, all animal lovers and members/supporters of animal welfare and rights groups (regardless of their attitude toward PETA, be it pro or con).

Bully breeds aren't inherently aggressive

Music:

Whatever is played on Sound of Muesli on 3D community radio in the mornings especially Patriarchal Death Machine, Where's The Pope?, The Dresden Dolls, Soursob Bob, The Smocks, The Beards, Pony Up!, indie pop/rock, Adelaide metal and hardcore, Melbourne grind and punk bands. I also enjoy listening to Triple J during trips in the car (especially Full Metal Racket and Short, Fast, Loud), unless it is Sunday night in which case I get to listen to the Prison Request Show and/or Powersurge on 3D. (Sometimes I am really unlucky and have to listen to SAFM, and that's the pits.)

Movies:

Milo and Otis, Hambone and Hillie, Turner and Hooch, Cats and Dogs (go dogs!), Chopper and ninja films.

Television:

I show occasional interest in shows such as Boston Legal, Futurama, It's Me Or The Dog, Oz, Totally Wild, V8 Supercar racing (go Holdens!), Meerkat Manor, AFL (if the West Coast Eagles are playing), jtv etc and commercials featuring dogs (at which I bark).
I express my disdain at shows such as Australian Idol or the Biggest Loser by loudly chomping on an empty Pepsi Max bottle so no-one can hear the TV. I sometimes also like to do this at key points during shows where plot development is crucial or an important revelation is about to be made.
When I stay at gramdma's I like to watch Inspector Rex, and will sit through entire episodes without getting distracted.

Books:

The thicker ones are more fun to chew, but magazines and newspapers are more fun to shred (and the more mess the better as far as I am concerned!).

Heroes:

Cujo (it wasn't his fault he got sick), Lassie, Brian from the Family Guy, Inspector Rex, Hong Kong Phooey, Beegle Beagle from the Great Grape Ape, West Coast Eagles (AFL Premiers 1992, 1994 and 2006!!).

More importantly, the RSPCA, Animal Welfare League, PAWS, WSPA, WWF, ASPCA, PETA, ALF, Animal Liberation and all other organisations and individuals worldwide who support animal rights and welfare and continue the fight against animal cruelty. You guys rock!

Please support the Animal Welfare League, they do a fantastic job for lost, stray and abandoned animals. Without them I, and thousands like me, wouldn't have been given a second chance to find a good home.
