Lovers love the artist to capture love as it hardly was and allow perfection to be worn in a locket.

About Me

:: I'm a mainly figurative representational painter. I have had five one-man shows in London and one in New York. I have also exhibited in Hong Kong, Zurich, Berlin, Milan and Chicago. I show with the Adam Gallery @ 24 Cork Street, London. I tend to work mainly within in a representational frame because my primary interest is the human face and figure. Drawing is at the centre of everything I do and I use most mediums mainly Oil paint, mixed media collage [with gold leaf, wax, varnish, graphite and found materials], Watercolour, and Pencil often on hand-made papers. I sometimes like to combine figurative imagery with abstraction which lends certain works a fragmentary nature. I pay little attention to the contemporary art world at all, let alone the concerns of current art practice :: ............................................................ ............................................................ ...............SELECTED GROUP EXHIBITIONS1989 Royal Overseas League, London (Prize winner). 1989-92/95 Royal Watercolour Society, London. 1990/92/96 /99 Sunday Times Watercolour Exhibition, London. 1990/92/93/2007 Royal Society of British Artists, London. 1991-92/94 /98 Royal Institute of Painters in Water colours, London. 1991-94/98 Royal Society of Portrait Painters, London.1990/92/96 Singer-Friedlander Watercolour Exhibition , London. 1992/96/ 2007 'The Discerning Eye', Mall Galleries, London.
