About Me

My name is Leith O'Malley and I'm an exhibiting visual artist from South Australia. I welcome feedback or interest from creative people, artists and art enthusiasts.. and hope you enjoy some of my work here. I really admire originality and honesty in art and hope you can find this in my own works both here and on my website at www.leithomalley.com which features a large variety of works in various mediums. One thing.. although I love creating art which explores themes of melancholia or sadness, I'm actually the opposite in person.. well, the majority of the time.. so don't make the mistake of thinking I'm some stereotypical melodramatic, woe is me artist. The Blog links on the top of this page will also give you some idea of my approach to creating my work and some of the weird, wonderful and crazy things that go through my head whilst enjoying this self indulgence. Hey, if you're leaving a comment on my page here please be inventive... avoid the "thanks for the add man" routine.. or just leaving some advert for yourself.
