The Tufty Fund is opposed to the breeding of rabbits (and other animals) for pleasure or profit. There are many thousands of homeless rabbits in rescue centres throughout the UK - we encourage people to adopt from rescues, rather than purchase animals from petshops or breeders. People need to THINK very carefully before taking on any animal as a companion! Rabbits are NOT a cheap or easy option and they are certainly NOT suitable for young children!On a personal note, I am vegan and believe in compassion for all sentient beings.
