I am animal lover who was born in Toronto and spent twenty two years in Manchester, England. And before you ask I do not support Manchester United, as lots of people assume. I don't follow football or any other sports, but I love dogs and cats. My husband and I have fostered cats for the Toronto Humane Society since 2003. Now I really admire those who foster children, it must be much harder, more rewarding but a lot more painful letting them go. I often attend demonstrations with local animal rights groups and also help out at the Centre for Addictions and Mental Health as a co-facilitator in group therapy for family members of those afflicted with addiction problems. Myspace automatically puts your birthsign on your profile, that's irrelevant as I think astrology and horoscopes are a load of nonsense. I find astronomy very intersting from what I can understand of it. My husband, Steve has a telescope and I've seen the Andromeda galaxy and the rings of Saturn through it.
