My Passion For The Entertainment's Industry
My name is Andy and I run AMP Records / PR and promotions in Norwich. I love the challenge of spotting new talent and using my promotional experience to guide where possible.
I have carefully looked at MySpace and found it a powerful and useful tool for genuine performers from all walks of life that are breaking away from the old school way of promotion.
MySpace is reshaping the music industry as we know it but the overall formula to at least stand a chance of succeeding remains the same. It's fantastic that a refreshing new avenue has opened it's doors to us but personal conduct off stage and away from the MySpace shop window still requires the utmost respect.
I'm hoping to use AMP Records / PR and promotions MySpace to share my knowledge that I have acquired over many years of preparing journalistic articles, photography and direction across the globe.
My profile here is not an attempt to gain thousands of adds, It is merely another window to the work I do everyday and an invitation for like minded people and friends old and new to share musical creations, PR, Photography and fresh new ideas.
My signing up a MySpace account has already proven friutful and I find myself advising and working with one or two fascinating artists already. It's not enough sometimes just to stick a couple of tracks on a site and hope for the best. There's a lot more to it than that.
Of course not everyone has the magic as I call it, It's something you're born with I'm sure. This is what will determine the outstanding characters not only on MySpace but anywhere in society. In other words It's mostly down to the artist, the rest is the icing on the cake.
