A Brief Personal Profile About Me
My name's Andreas Yiasimi and as far back as I can remember what makes me tick is music, photography, modelling and all the wonderful branches it has to offer. I guess its an important part of me and is as vital as food and water. It would be difficult for me to make one of these survival courses without a guitar or a press release deadline. Yeah that's it, I was born with two eyes, nose and with a heart that beats to the musical rhythm of life.
I entered my musical and photographic world on August the 16th 1961 at the London Hospital in the heart of the rough but beautiful East End of London. Son of Greek Cypriot parents who came over during the 1950's. We were poor but rich in heart, surrounded by street musicians, gangsters, working class dreams of hope but most of all love and trust.
Its the simple things that really count and when I look back its when we were at our lowest we were most happy. Its so true when they say limited funds are a blessing, not a curse. Nothing encourages creative thinking in quite the same way.
Having worked with some top names in the entertainment's industry (and treading the boards myself for many years) I know what is required from an artists or models point of view. After returning home from a spate of photographic and PR assignments across the UK I realised there was a demand for some solid advice and direction in our region so I started my own promotional outfit. My concentration never wavers whether I'm photographing a top name or a first time enthusiast.

Welcome to 'Amber Models UK' on 'My Space' I'm hoping that this will be a useful and powerful tool not only for run of the mill enthusiasts and new friends but also for genuine promoters models and photographers.
I run my model and photographic outfit from the North Norfolk Coast of the UK providing portfolios, PR and management. I am at present revamping 2 of my major sites throughout this year. One is geared up for fashion, TV extras and mainstream promotions and the other for stylish top end glamour.
I came up with the idea of trying out 'My Space' to see if it assists us in finding new faces for project 'search' as I call it. There are never any promises in this industry but I assure you that I will advise and direct to the best of my knowledge and look forward to building a useful resource here. We are all So Very Proud of You
There are really no words to describe the joy here at Amber Models at the news of Melita Morgan appearing at one of the worlds most prestigious film festivals. The movie titled 'Mister Lonely' has been directed by the gifted Harmony Korine and has an all star line up that includes Samantha Morton and Diego Luna.
The movie has already had a tremendous response at the Cannes Film Festival and has thrown Melita into the International film arena where she belongs. It's endearing to observe that success hasn't changed Melita at all and she remains charmingly humble and true to the art she so passionately loves.
Melita continues to be an inspirational influence here at Amber Models with her willingness to share her knowledge and valuable experience to help others. It's a pleasure to be dealing with her publicity and official photographic work for the exciting months ahead. keep posted as we bring you this amazing story in exclusive photographs, interviews and news as it breaks.
