We're a late night entertainment show broadcast across the UK on Kerrang! Radio.
Tim's been fired from pretty much every job he's ever had and surprised everyone in the industry when Kerrang! Radio decided he was worth a 22nd chance! Some say bribes were involved, others speculate that blackmailing photos ensured he got the top spot. Whatever it was, it's too late to stop him now. The Beast has been unleashed and is already terrorising our security guard!
The Asylum is like no other show. Interaction is what it's all about. Tim talks, you talk, Tim talks, you talk, Tim shouts, you shout..... the listeners make the show along with an unassuming entourage of strange and surreal guests from strippers, pimps, street cleaners and delivery men to the hottest acts around the world who often bring their own page 3 girls and international mud wrestlers. Tim keeps his at home in the spare room.
Tim claims that he is annoyingly innocent on the phone. He's sacked someone every night, sold double glazing and time share at 2am and gone to McDonalds at midnight still live on air via his mobile phone.
He says expect the unexpected. We say he's nuts.
Juicy Lucy is the person responsible for keeping a leash on Tim Shaw on Tim Shaw's Asylum. No easy task as Tim is possibly the most un-predictable person (let alone DJ) on the planet. Lucy holds her own though and doesn't mind getting involved in the action with live studio guests from Strippers to pimps to bondage sex-perts.
