Helping struggling indie bands have sex since 1952

About Me

Nothing makes me happier than spending my nights drinking snakebite in some grotty pub, looking out for the next band who will change the world. I was there at the first Can show in Cologne and all that. Sex Pistols at the 100 Club? In the front row, mate. Arctic Monkeys? They played their first gig in my basement I'll have you know.
So what else do I get up to? Well I'm quite partial to hanging out with my good friends Liam Gallagher, Alex Turner, Johnny Borrell, Pete Doherty, Mike Skinner, Morrissey and Thom Yorke, although I don't like to talk about that.
Actually I do quite like talking about it - I write about them every bloody week! And I take their pictures, although Ryan from The Cribs stage-dived on my camera last week so I'm currently waiting for the lens to get fixed.
Hey, why not check out what's in This Week's Issue!

My Interests

Getting thrown out of speeding cars by drug-addled rock stars. Making lists. Wading through muddy fields. Pranging out at Benicassim festival. Shrooming out at Glastonbury Festival. Inventing ridiculous new genres of music. Getting smacked with a bike chain by drug-addled rock stars. Sleeping in vans. Taking the piss out of Razorlight.

I'd like to meet:

Music obsessives across the globe. Oh, and anyone who's got a spare ticket to the next Klaxons gig.

Music:

Arctic Monkeys Babyshambles The Cribs Dirty Pretty Things Kings Of Leon Foo Fighters Franz Ferdinand Green Day Klaxons The Kooks Long Blondes Oasis Radiohead The Streets The Strokes White Stripes My Chemical Romance The Velvet Underground Yeah Yeah Yeahs Bloc Party Interpol Arcade Fire The Futureheads Maximo Park Kaiser Chiefs The Smiths Editors The Cure Kraftwerk The Who Muse Joy Division Art Brut The Rakes T.V On The Radio Stone Roses The Clash The Enemy Nirvana Gallows Hadouken Jamie T CSS The View Pigeon Detectives Biffy Ramones

Television:

The NME Chart Show, The Mighty Boosh, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Celebrity Big Brother. That Inky Fingers documentary was very good, too, but then I'm a bit egotistical like that

Heroes:

John Lennon, Elvis, Liam Gallagher, Patti Smith, Johnny Rotten, Kate Bush, PJ Harvey, Kurt Cobain, Ian Curtis, Jimi Hendrix, Morrissey, Nikk White, Alanis Morrissette, Ian Brown, Nico, Thom Yorke, Johnny Marr, Arthur Lee, Richie Edwards, David Bowie, Courtney Love, Lester Bangs(that Alanis Morrissette thing was a joke, ok?)
