Local Ballard Comedy Show is an all-ages comedy show held at Mr. Spot's Chai House in Ballard (Seattle), WA and located at 5463 Leary Ave 98107. Local Ballard Comedy Show is held every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month.
Created by Hari Kondabolu, THE LOCAL BALLARD COMEDY SHOW was originally a place for comics to try out new material and "stretch out" a bit in the semi-friendly confines of artsy-fartsy Ballard.
Mr. Kondabolu, however, soon realized what a pain in the ass managing a comedy show was, so he passed it along to Kevin Hyder and Scott Moran of THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF KOMEDY, producers of LAFF HOLE and other comedic showings.
Mr. Hyder and Mr. Moran, however, soon realized what a pain in the ass managing two comedy shows was, so they passed it along to fellow PROK mates Derek Sheen, Paul Merrill, Aziza Diaz and Ross Parsons , who have promised to not ruin it on purpose.
The show always starts at 9pm and ends around 10:30pm. This show is absolutely free! Donations are encouraged by threat of severe beating. See you at the next show!
