About Me

Note: I am not a certified counselor.
This MySpace is dedicated to all of the life-threatening issues that we struggle with every day, with no regard to simplicity or complexity.
Maybe you're hurting, and you don't understand why. Maybe you've lost someone, and you can't find a healthy way to cope. Maybe you've coped as much as you can and you just want to share your story. Maybe you're closed off to almost everything and don't want to share anything. Maybe you feel lost and need to feel connected to someone or something. Maybe you are on the edge, teetering, because you're not sure what your path is. Maybe you are just flat out miserable with your life or know someone who is.
Maybe you don't fit anything I described...but that list of maybe's could go on forever. What's more important is finding something, anything that will help you hold on...Hope, is an anchor.
This MySpace is a connection for those who feel lost, hopeless, helpless, and entirely alone.
You can talk to me about anything. How your day was, what your plans are, or what is bothering you at the moment. You can tell me about what's great in your life right now. You can rant and rave, let me know if you don't want a response, or if you want advice or just feel like chatting about stuff. You can tell me how suicide, drugs, or alcohol has affected you and those around you. And you don't have to tell me any names or details.
I am a strong Christian. If you want to ask me for prayer, please don't hesitate. If you have different beliefs than me, that doesn't make a difference. I will still respect you. I will still try to help you in any way possible.
Whether they realize it or not, the strength to overcome any obstacle is inside every person on this earth. All I want is to help them, and you, find it.
There are many people who care in this world. If you need someone to talk to right now you can call either of these numbers:
1-800-Suicide
1-800-273-Talk
or visit this website to search for a hotline that is local.
Make sure to check out the blog. A couple people have submitted their stories, and I posted my story as well. Maybe they will relate to yours, or inspire you in some way.
