Behind the name
Micevice lies the figure of
Giovanni Ferrario.
As a guitarist, singer, songwriter, producer he has been trading the boards of nearly twenty years now.
He plays and collaborates with Hugo Race and The True Spirit, Sepiatone, Morgan, Vega Enduro....

Born in Monti-Chiari, Italy.
1984 Forms Views. They records
Namby-Pamby (ep Tramite, 88) and
Mummycat The World N°2 (lp Crazy Mannequin, 90). The band's alive for ten years.
1995 Moves to Catania and joins
Cesare Basile’s band as guitar player.
1996 Composes music for the choreographer
Daniela Agosta, the dj
Nigel Allen, the video-maker
Maurizio Leonardi.
1997 Joins
Amerigo Verardi's band,
Lula. They record the
self-titled lp (Baracca&Burattini, 99) in Florence, produced by
Jim Wilson (Sugar/Bob Mould).
1998 Forms
Micevice with
Marta Collica (Sepiatone/True Spirit/John Parish) and the australian bass player
Cat Hope. They record
Experiments On The Duration Of Love (lp Lollypop, 99) in Melbourne.
Back to Brescia produces
Armstrong, the latest album of
Scisma (lp EMI, 99).
1999 Records and produces in Salò
Micevice second album,
Bipolars Of The World Unite cpl (lp GreatMachinePistola, 00).
Collaborates at the direction of the
Power To The Guitar Sound videoclip with Cristiano dal Pozzo and Gianluca Fracassi.
Raise A Shout, the second videoclip taken from the album, is directed by
Graziano Staino.
