About Me

The European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation aims to promote European film and filmmaking;
With some 20 festivals represented, on the European continent as well as supporting members in Asia and North-America, and a joint audience of approximately 600.000 spectators, the European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation (EFFFF) has become one of the most powerful tools to promote the originality and creativity of the European fantasy film industry.
Present in 16 countries, it has developed a tight network of festivals that allows films to reach foreign audiences more easily and offers them a potential visibility among the public, press and professionals that it cannot find in film markets.
With the objective of supporting European fantastic cinema artistically and economically, the EFFFF has created the Golden Méliès Competition for Best European Fantastic Film.
This unique competition, open to feature films and short films, is co-organised by all the European members of the Federation. The films selected in this competition are promoted at the major film markets and at each of the festivals.

My Interests

The aim of the European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation, EFFFF, is to promote European fantastic films to a world audience, as well as its festival members. And by doing so also stimulate the European production climate towards fantastic films. The federation hands out an annual award, the Méliès d'Or, for Best European Fantastic Film.

The European Fantastic Film Festivals Fedration is one of the worlds largest network of film festivals, and the only federation for promoting European fantastic films, as well as acknowledging the force of fantastic films from all over the world.

I'd like to meet:

Filmmakers having questions about the federation and its members, film festivals that want to inquire about membership in the federation, and filmmakers that want to submit their films to the festivals within the federation, as well as anybody wanting to discuss film and festivals in general.
