........Jam Masters is the brainchild of DJ D1. Started in 2006, the general idea behind Jam Matsers is to bring and spread quality caribbean flavoured entertainment with the world. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, D1 has been fortunate enough to experience first hand the power of Caribbean music and at an early age, after seeing his uncle operate two technics, dj-ing became an obsession. Living in America broadened D1's musical horizons and it was here music production first caught D1's interest. D1 has managed in a fairly short time to see the best dj's and artists at work, played the hottest clubs, and rocked the toughest crowds. Now performing is like second nature for this "trini-boy" and something many who have seen him at work can testify to. Jam Masters at this time consists of a dj crew spinning a sort of music we like to call "funky urban," backed by our own Jam Masters dancers. Our music style includes a huge mix of soca, reggae/dancehall, latin, rnb, hip hop and other shake your ass music styles. However, when it comes to soca we are hands down, THE WICKEDEST SOCA DJ'S IN HOLLAND! The goal is to bring caribbean music on a main stream level, especially soca! We are slowly infiltrating the airwaves and now with the successes of reggae/dancehall, thanks to people like Sean Paul, Tanya Stephens and the accomplishments of the Soca Warriors who placed Trinidad on the worldwide stage, we think the time is now ripe to push the music to higher levels and reach as many people as possible. Jam Masters is also a young production camp making crazy hype beats and slowly becoming the talk of the town. Artist management and our own Record Label (Kadelick Music) are also in the works. D1 is also the head resident dj and controller at club Rumba which is hands down the hottest latin/urban/caribbean spot in the north of Holland. And as most people already know, D1 is also the main dj/selector for the number one reggae/dancehall champion sound system in Holland, the BIG BAD HERBALIZE-IT SOUND SYSTEM.
