About Me

GORDIE TENTREES RETURNS HOME...
Canadian Gordie Tentrees returns from spring North American Tour! We are finally home! 33 shows in 25 days in Tennessee, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas and Alberta, what a hoot. We had a great time, thank you so much for supporting our music. Thanks for inviting us into your homes, feeding us and giving us a taste of life elsewhere Special thanks to Ken Hermanson and Matt King for making me sound so good everytime. Some recent developments, ’Bottleneck to Wire’ will now be distributed by major US company Burnside Distribution out of Portland, Oregon. The Gordie Tentrees Trio will be performing a live CBC national concert opening for Doug Cox, India’s Salil Bhatt, and Ramkumar Mishra in Whitehorse April 18 on Saturday Night Blues with host Holger Peterson. Also, Gordie and his band have been invited to open 25 dates in Europe in Nov/Dec next fall for a major Canadian Roots artist. Those exciting details to be released in the coming months. In the meantime, see you down the road this summer as festival season is here again!
This northern songwriter and his band blend blues, country, folk and instrumental music into a sound all their own, with infectious harmonies, gritty songs, and generous charm. Gordie has released 2 albums creating an international media buzz, while performing 200 concerts a year. He has toured, opened and performed with Kelly Joe Phelps, Fred Eaglesmith, Blackie & The Rodeo Kings and Rick Fines.
