Let Loose, with MZZ GOOSE, hey hey hey hey!!

About Me

LEANNE GOOSE: [email protected], Ph: 867-678-0309.

'Ms. Goose is a classic “talent deserving wider recognition.” She is from Inuvik, Northwest Territories, with a talent as accessible as it is huge. Boasting a voice that can be either confessional or soul-shout broad and an emerging songwriting talent, Leanne Goose is a treasure waiting to be found'.... ROCK, METAL, BLUES, COUNTRY, NORTHERN SOUL...And still mixing it up.
Leanne is ready and willing to bend and break all the rules***ANYWHERE - her first single release, is currently featured on independent radio across Canada and the US. ‘ANYWHERE’ is also featured on the National Aboriginal Top 30 as a steady favorite.
In some ways, singer Leanne Goose is a throwback to classic artists, like Loretta Lynn, or old school rock group like Led Zeppelin; she can take any style, update it, and make it her own with incredible ease. Despite (or because of) her genre-bending, Leanne fits comfortably singing to kids in the park, in a soft seat theater, or in a dirty rock club. Leanne is an artist who’s known for energetic performances and an exemplary gift for pouring emotion into her already engaging style.
She is developing into a seasoned live performer, Leanne jumped into the spotlight when her father opened his stage to her. Leanne hasn’t stopped earning the respect of musicians, the praise of critics and the love of fans since then. Just ask any number of folks who have been captivated by her big voice and that cheeky smile. Most people would just tell you that to truly understand how Leanne seamlessly transcends; you have to check her out live. She has earned countless rave reviews in the years that she has been performing. To hear her is to believe.
MY TURN--Welcome to my space. The tracks you are listening to are still in the demo stage. The CD is set for release very soon. I've been playing in a band on and off for a few years and this is my first crack at writing my own stuff. I have to give props to Mr.Laurie MacNabb for all his work. All I want do to make music and meet new folks to collaborate with. Inuvik is a long way from ANYWHERE but if you are ever in the area, drop me a line and I'll show you around.
I love music and other musicians period. Lynard Skynard's Simple Man is choice! Wrapped up in Alice in Chain's, Nutshell, Pink Floyd, Nikka Costa, Jimmy Hendricks, Amy Winehouse, The Doors, Sam Cooke, The Allman Bros., anything by Chris Cornell, Jane's Addition, Led Zepplin or AC/DC, Eagle & Hawk's 'I See Red' is fkn awesome, old skool rock from the 70's when I am feeling mischievious. Everyday it's something new. I'm singing all the time about laundry, breaking hearts, hair cuts, purple soda. Catch me in the line up at the store and listen. Thanks for stopping by. Peace. Lea
