About Me

In-Fidelity is a record label. Maybe one day well be manufacture soft drinks, issue credit cards and start an airline. For now, well stick to releasing music.
In-Fidelity has been going since 2002. Though the fools who run it have been putting out records since the late 70s.
We reckon our catalogue/roster is an eclectic collection of amazing music. But we would say that. Its a mixture of Australian/New Zealand artists along with some of our favourite sounds from the other corners of the globe.
FRIEND POLICY: Anyone is free to be a friend of In-Fidelity. If you spam us too much, or just use the comments to advertise every gig, then we may change our minds. We only approach individuals if we know them. We approach bands/artists we like/respect (and, usually, have spent our pocket money on their records/gigs). We ain't losing any sleep if they don't add us.
Our website has up-to-date information on all the artists releases, touring, news, pics, etc. Go and explore it sometime.

Los Zafiros

One of the great things about Melbourne is that we still have some incredible record stores run by people who know what they're talking about. I love walking into a store and being told I have to get ...

Tobias Cummings

I'm crazy about the debut album Tobias Cummings has just released on In-Fidelity. It's been a long time in the making, but worth the wait. It's a beautifully crafted work that highlights Tobias' uni...

Ivan & The Terribles and Wooden Shjips

I love finding those "this-is-how-we-make-our-music-and-we-don't-give-a-fuck-if-a nyone-else-likes-it-or-not" type records. As opposed to the "this-is-our-deliberate-attempt-to-look-like-we-are-making.. .

Arthur Kane & N. Y. Dolls

I watched the Arthur Kane doco the other night. It was such a sad story. Immediately afterwards, I had to throw on the astounding Bob Gruen N.Y. Dolls doco just to remember Arthur (and the band) in al...

Sax Honkers

I love wild r&b honkers of the late 40s and early 50s - wild men that blew the most incredible raw sounds out of their alto/tenor saxes. They were hated by serious jazz-heads for their crude, simplis...
