About Me

CLICK ABOVE AND REQUEST "WOMAN I ADORE" ON TRIPLE J RADIO!

Our story begins after the demise of the short lived Sydney band Bang Bang You're Deadly
, which comprised Mark, Ryan and Ben Ely (Regurgitator). Powerful punk/rock riff slabs are this bands trademark. In 2007 Atomicide hit the ground running at breakneck speed with a cavalcade of energetic live performances that had Sydney’s live scene abuzz. Leading up to their unforgettable headline performance to a packed house at the Landsdowne Hotel that came close to a full blown riot on a Saturday night in June. Since then they have cut their first EP at Sydney’s premiere studio, Big Jesus Burger after being signed to Rob Willmott / Evan Mchugh's indie label, Red Records. The EP is set to blast Atomicide into the stratosphere on a rocket aimed directly at the sun. Rampaging Mark Raprager sits at the helm of the good ship Atomicide, running amok on the mic like a coked-up evil Elvis, minus the pain-killers, whilst ripping up the trademark riff-o-rama guitar attacks that have become synonymous with the band’s ear-splittin’ sound. Bangin’ Pete Burgess aims his monster bass sound squarely between the eyes of the audience, rolling out a thunderous bottom-end that squares up a furious rhythm section. Newcomer drummer Wild Stu Wilson hits hard, fast, loud and proud, smacking the skins like they just insulted his mother, while spitting out anthemic back-up vocals along with Pete. As one of the best kept secrets in Sydney gears up for a run of dates at the end of the year, the boys are hard at work in the Atomicide lab putting the final touches on their diabolical plan, before launching their full-scale sonic revolution in 2008. Hit the streets and get your fists in the air people. Atomicide are imminent..
