supporting Jet in Melbourne and Sydney, Silver Night Drive's
combination of soaring vocals and
harmonies, muscular guitars and a driving rhythm section is a potent
live force not seen for many
years.
Fronted by Andre Warhurst, guitarist extraordinaire (guest guitarist on
Jet's album Get Born and
considered one of the finest guitarists in the country), Silver Night
Drive have been gaining
plenty of praise both locally and abroad over the past few months,
including David Bowie/T-Rex
producer Tony Visconti describing them as the most exciting band he'd
heard all year.
