Thanks to Bruce Milne at Infidelity Recordings, we would like to present you our brand new 7" single "GIVE IT", now playable here in it's entirety. We're doing the 7" as a split with our favourite Sydney band THE HOLY SOUL. They have a totally cool song called "THAT'S ALL". The Holy Soul are in our top friends, go and check out their sounds. You'll be able to buy copies at the launch shows and a few discerning record shops. Rui Pereira made the artwork, although you can only see Bowerbirds half if it here. Currently for sale are our first two 7" records - "ANGEL OF SORROW" released Christmas 2007 and the "IVY CLIMBING" EP June 2007. Both 7"s were produced by Paul Maybury and recorded at A Secret Location Recorders, Melbourne. Sure enough you can listen to digital versions of the songs here on this page. But we all know that digital music is lame and that's why these hot track have been pressed into vinyl platters. They cost $10 and are available at Missing Link, Greville Records, International Trash, Off The Hip, Vicious Sloth, The Last Record Store and Northside Records in Melbourne AND RED EYE RECORDS IN SYDNEY.

Of course you can get them at shows too. Please note that "ANGEL OF SORROW" 7"s are selling fast and there are only a handful of "Ivy Climbing" EP's left. They are numbered copies, limited to 500.

Bowerbirds have also recorded a smoking version of the SMALL FACES R&B pop monster "IT'S TOO LATE" for a tribute album soon to come out on OFF THE HIP RECORDS.
Phil has designed and hand printed the new Bowerbirds T-shirts and Singlets, photos to follow. They look cool or so sez Phil (he is dreadfully vain) so he must be right

It was shot on 16mm by Rob McCafferty (A Weekend in the Country - Meredith Music Fest Doco). Us blokes are stoked that Rage have played it 4 weeks in a row and thanks to The Drones for programming it too, genius.
