Pressure Radio was formed late 2006, borne from a love of music by 3 cousins (David Gorecki, Johnny Paradowski and Mark Pietryk) and a very close friend (Anthony Vestri).
After previous exploits in other bands, Pressure Radio has come together as a culmination of different sounds and genres to create a unique blend which is essentially rock at the core.
These Melbourne based musicians have been carving out a niche on the Melbourne scene, playing at venues such as The Espy, Revolver, QBH, Ding Dong Lounge, Royal Melbourne Hotel and The Barwon Club (Geelong).
The music of Pressure Radio is diverse in range, and whilst it retains melody and vocal harmony, can be dark and intense lyrically.
The bands live performances are full of energy and intensity with beats that will make you bounce; nobody leaves a gig disappointed! Even the groups recordings ooze this same vigour and enthusiasm!

Pressure Radio were semi-finalists in the 1st Round of Tooheys UncharTED Competition early in 2008, leading to great exposure and enabling the guys to broaden their fanbase. The boys took it to the next level in the 2nd Round of Tooheys UncharTED Competition, becoming Grand Finalists up against Here Come The Birds. The Grand Final gig was played and filmed at Sydneys illustrious Oxford Art Factory, hosted by Rosso and MTV's Ruby Rose. The show was put together from rehersals and the actual Grand Final play-off which was aired on Foxtel's MTV!

The band have recorded tracks at both Guruland with producer Sam Canning, and at Studio 52 with Brendan 'BJ' Marolla. 5 of these tracks have been mastered at Crystal Mastering for their debut EP to be released soon.
