About Me

Bigtom Films is a loose conglomeration of no budget, plenty of ideas, filmmakers, centered around writers Clayton Thomson and Colin Weir, with technical and aural contributions from Tim Denman, who, for reasons of his own, also goes under the guise of Timtamtoom, and Monkey on a Trike - must be the medication. Past collaborators include Zachary Cooke - also known as 'Katys Boyfriend', local, acting ....er..... actors Natalie Hubbard and John Rackham, and composers Patrick Savage and Holeg Spies. All films have featured heroic, first time performances from several friends, who have wholeheartedly entered the spirit of "That doesn't matter, we don't know what we're doing either, come on, it'll be a laugh", and it has been. If we have a philosophy, and let's face it, philosophy is rubbish, it's something like " Don't sit on your arse, dreaming up reasons why you can't do it. Don't waste your time and energy trying to get money from people who would rather be spending it on cocaine. Get a camera, point it at something interesting/funny/stupid/clever...blah blah blah, make a film. Oh yeah, use your imagination and whatever is lying around, be prepared to do a bit of blagging, and.... have fun."

Oh yeah, if you've got a decent camera you're not using, come and use it with us, or let us use it...you get the gist.

Music:

Yes, no not the band yes, although some of 'Fragile' is alright. Yes we like music, unless it's rubbish, and let's face it, a lot of it is.

Movies:

Yeah....lot's of those too. Bela Tarr to Carry On and back again......the long way.

Television:

It's quite good for shouting at, isn't it.

Books:

Hey Folks, looks like we've got us a reader.

Heroes:

Did you ever know that you're my
