Gimme Credit Screenplay Competition

Cycle V Call for Entries Open NOW!

About Me

Cycle VII is NOW open for entries!

The Gimme Credit Screenplay Competition was created with the single purpose of producing one talented writer’s short script and giving exposure and development advice to as many writers as possible.
All writers receive feedback on their scripts following the announcement of the winners.
We don’t just make the winner’s film and then desert it. We will do everything in our power to get it out there and get recognition for our writers.
It is difficult for screenwriters to be taken seriously without any produced films on their resume. GCSC will produce the winning script with Screen Actors Guild actors and a professional crew and enter it into top film festivals.

Who should apply?
Anyone anywhere who has ever wanted their work produced. Whether you are someone pondering a career change, an aspiring filmmaker, a retired business exec or anyone else, your submission is welcome.
Most aspiring writer/directors have a few scripts lying around that they think are good, but they may not be the script that they are dying to direct. Why not submit it to us for a chance of having it produced and to bring you some (maybe a lot of) publicity. It’s not helping you out on the shelf in your closet!
Finalists and Super Short winners to be announced on Saturday, November 15, 2008. Grand Prize and other winners to be announced on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Gimme Credit .
You can mail in an entry by following the instructions on our website or your can enter entirely online through our competition page at withoutabox. You will be asked to sign in or enter a very short registration form. WithoutaBox.com
Thank you & good luck!
Check out... We love them.
