About Me

Hola! I'm Anna Black. I live in sunny North London, and have a window box for company. I like to fall over a lot in front of a camera.
Over the last few years or so I've filmed, directed, featured in, edited and produced over 130 films of various genres including comedy, documentary, and drama.

At the 2006 Edinburgh Festival I produced the internet film series - "30 Films in 30 Days" which was watched online by thousands of people around the world. Look out for my full length documentary film "A Fringe Existence" about the "experience".
At the moment I'm producing more episodes of the Retro computer comedy series the "8-Bit Sid-Chip Sandwich Show" 8BSCSS.COM - a silent movie feature, presenting two radio shows - SLAY Radio.org , and of course making lots more films in various different places.
I'm love travelling a lot and filming, and writing about what I see, hear and smell. I have a signed photograph of Arthur Bostrom with me at all times. If you would like to join the "I Love Anna's signed photograph of Arthur Bostrom Club" please see above...
There are lots of my films dotted around the internet and they have been featured on the BBC, Sky and Channel4. Previously I worked on a new C4 TV Sketch Show, and before that MTV.
You can see me around the continent performing stand up, character comedy, improvisation, and sketch shows and as a compere. I am also a qualified geologist which helps.
