With many credits to their names on both sides of the Atlantic and in Japan, Savage & Spies are unique, powerful and very different musical personalities from opposite ends of the musical spectrum, however the combination of their talents has produced a truly extraordinary sound-world. Their work as a duo fuses Savage's rare melodic gift and classical/orchestral prowess with Spies' breath-taking, eclectic sound-world and mind-blowing production.
Trained at the Royal College of Music in London, Savage (Australian/British) spent several years as a principal member of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Among prestigious collaborations, he was invited to L.A by Klaus Badelt (Pirates of the Carribean I). He also worked on major films as a violinist, including "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy.
Gifted in the dramatic fusion of musical styles, Spies (French) is known for his eclectic and undefinable style. From indie rock to electronica through world and classical music, he has worked with major record companies such as Universal Japan, BMG and Polygram. He also collaborated on the trailer of Hollywood thriller "The Hitcher" produced by Michael Bay.
