This is my acting showreel. My short 'The Liberator' starred Mel Stephenson and Ben Shockley. It's a tongue-in-cheek martial arts actioner in which rival factions compete for possession of an advanced handgun. The core of the film is a four minute fight sequence choreographed by Independent Stunts and featuring Mel's amazing martial arts skills - currently doing fairly well on YouTube. My first feature 'Bloodmyth' stars Shelley Halstead as Juliet Corman, instructor for a survival training company, who invites her sister Holly (Natalie Clayton) along to the first course in a new centre in woodland in Kent, not knowing that waiting for them is a killer experimenting with ancient Celtic methods of human sacrifice. One by one, their companions are killed and Jules and Holly left to deal with the killer alone. It's been described by its editor Ross Boyask as 'Deliverance meets Halloween'. It was shot over two weeks in Kent woodland, and at the bottom of a garden. There's a terrific ensemble cast who also doubled as crew during the shoot. Here's the trailerCurrently working on action horror screenplay Blood for the Hunter. Supernatural western script Mystery Arizona is in the pipeline as well as martial arts actioner Storm in a Quiet Place. Two much bigger projects biding their time. Anyone want to give me money?I'm playing Axel in action thriller Ten Dead Men from Modern Life? and Alan in Ken Colley's feature directing debut Greetings, which should both get industry screenings this year.I also write for theatre, winning a Best of the San Francisco Fringe Festival award in 2006 for my fifth show there since 2001.
