Volunteers for Change is a program of Volunteer Fairfax, a private nonprofit corporation serving the Fairfax County community since 1975. Volunteers for Change is designed to make volunteering fun and accessible to busy working adults through a monthly calendar of hands-on “team†projects.
More than 3,187 volunteers have participated in the program since September 1994. As of December 31, 2007, Volunteers for Change members have completed more than 5,600 projects, contributing 55,000+ hours of service. Volunteer Fairfax works with numerous community based organizations to offer an average of 50+ projects per month. For more information, please visit our website at www.volunteerfairfax.org.
