About Me

My Interests

The minute I heard my first love story, I started looking for you, not knowing how blind that was. Lovers don't finally meet somewhere. They're in each other all along...

I'd like to meet:

Music:

Top down, driving fast, and you trying not to move your hand from my leg while you steer and shuffle at the same time..... ;-)

Movies:

Paris Je T'aime

Television:

Planet Earth, Grey's Anatomy, Whistler, Jeopardy!, NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB, CNN, TLC, TCM, HBO, PPV

Books:

3 books I'm reading right now: On Writing, Special Topics in Calamity Physics (excellent), Save The Cat (thank you Lou!).
The Bible.
All poetry. Quotes. I love novels that make me cry. or think. or think twice. All classic literature. My favorite book ever is: To Kill a Mockingbird. 2nd: The Fountainhead.I read all the time. Some recent favorites are: The History of Love, The Kite Runner, March, Left to Tell.... I'll re-read Tom Wolfe anyday. All of Raymond Carver, Edna St. Vincent Millay's Savage Beauty is great. I also really love reading plays, particularly Tennessee Williams, John Patrick Shanley and Sir William Shakespeare. Actually, I couldn't even begin to list all my favorite authors or playwrights. I'm just grateful to have access to all the books I could ever want.

Heroes:

Jesus Christ. My mother. Those who fight for other people. Anyone who has ever opened their hearts to love, ... especially after being really hurt.
