Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs...actually - that probably belongs in the 'about me' section...heh heh heh! ********************************************************** Love almost all sports (playing watching) but have not yet discovered a passion for watching trout fishing tournaments on the telly. Ice skating has driven me to push the boundaries of modern science in order to create new cartilage where the original has completely worn away. One more surgery yet to go...but i start synvisc injections soon. C'mon bionics...I can't just sit around forever waiting for you to turn me into the six billion dollar beej! Fortunately, I am very independent, have a talent for crutching, and absolutely CANNOT stand whiners, so my friends' greatest complaints are my tendency to want to join in all the fun before attaining the doctor's approval, lol! Also worked whole life until now in designer retail management and buying, so have an understanding of design and color aesthetics and can be relied upon for knowing where to shop for certain items. I also get good-natured grief regarding the extent of my 6.4 lb long-haired chi's rather extensive wardrobe...but no worries...she's no Tinkerbell! Other than that, I am generally interested in a random assortment of new and old ideas and am easy to persuade to join in spotaneous adventures or harmless bits of mischief. Easy going, love the sun and the beach...not too fond of sharks since I saw Jaws at the age of nine ( and in my nightmares for months thereafter)...and spending time with friends and loved ones just chilling or blading on the Strand. And of course I love my law school boys when they dress up for law school prom...don't we all clean up nice???
Friends, amigos, partners in crime...anyone willing to twist my arm ever so carefully to get me away from homework and into the SUN! Multi-dimensional people possessing at least a miniscule amount of common sense, yet daring enough to take risks and willing to make a mistake (and the lesson learned from it). Preferably those with a wicked sense of humor, or at the very least can tolerate mine! ********************** AND YOU!!!**************************** Anyone who can get a cab in the hollywood hills in the middle of the night faster than my girl Aubry...honestly...how DOES she do it???
one can never have too much dick in a box...Anything goes. As a figure skater and professional coach, I have an extremely eclectic CD collection...and enjoy classic rock, pop, or hip hop for working out on the ice to get the blood pumping, to classical or mellow for studying, to a little rock (or a little Kid Rock) when I am in a let out steam, payback the rude neighbors, kick a little @$$ kind of mood!* ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ CURRENT FAVORITE CDS:_____

Generally I just wanna laugh, though a good psychological thriller on video hits the spot every now and then...
Survivor, Apprentice, and The Amazing Race....anything where people have to go through challenges, manipulate each other, and be edited into idiots before a million viewers on the off chance that they will win major cash. Law and Order SVU, Law and Order, Law and Order Trial by Jury in that order, Missing, Without a Trace, and of course, can't forget Monk...not that I would EVER act that way.... HEY! Hold up! I think your tag is sticking out!!!
Hate to be a joiner, but totally dug The DaVinci code and Angels and Demons. Brown is a freakin' genius...I love how I was part of a whole discussion the other day regarding some tv show that carefully 'proved' that the DaVinci Code couldn't be the truth. Duh...I believe that is why they file it under FICTION...but how absolutely talented is the guy to write a book with just enough illusion of truth to inspire such debates and airtime! Really - too many to mention, but perrenial faves include The Chronicles of Narnia, The Little Princess, all of the 'Shoes' books, Save a Prayer For Owen Meany, the fascinating philosophical fiction works written by Jean Brueller under his nom de plume, Vercors, during the French Revolution, Patterson's 'Black Market' - which I read while living in NYC years prior to 9/11 - only to have the attacks on that day seem a little too familiar for some reason. If video games can teach children violence, can fictional books inspire specific terrorist acts? Makes you wonder....
My friend Hope, who ran towards the WTC on 9/11 after seeing the planes hit and people jumping, working with others in the downtown communities to scrounge up clean towels, bandages, and water, and anything else the professional rescue workers needed.

People that open doors for strangers, smile at people they pass on the street, buy a hotdog for the homeless guy living on the street, let other cars merge onto the 405, 10, or most other SoCal freeway parkinglots, and those that notice the world around them and take an extra moment or two every now and then to make some small gesture designed to ease the load of a fellow human if only for a singular moment. MY LITTLE BROTHER IN GERMANY...THEY GROW UP SOOOOO FAST!
Pep from Firehouse Dog...i only WISH i could be that cool and fierce when i grow up!!! :)
My girls who don't let the boys get them down...but prove time and time again that success (in living well) IS the greatest revenge!!! Yeah...Katie, Dee, Mayte...I'm talkin' 'bout you!!!
