Secret government experiments in bio-engineering and genetics resulted in the BioWars of the early 22nd Century. To put an end to the conflicts and maintain peace, the government sanitized society, believing that if everyone dressed the same, read the same books, watched the same programs -- did everything the same way -- there would be no arguments, no crime, no wars.
An artist/musician was chosen for some of the government's early bio-experiments...crossed with a bobcat, his senses and talents were enhanced, but so was his need for independence. Escaping from the laboratory compound, Myhr {as he came to be known}, soon found his way to an old abandoned television station, shut down long before when the government took over the airwaves.
Here, he met up with a ragtag group of creative people, banded together to rebel against uniformity and to add color to society's drab existence. Using the old station as a hidden base, the Video Pirates would break into the government programming to broadcast cartoons and classic sitcoms -- anything to make the populace laugh and to inspire creative thinking.
A chance discovery of an unstable time vortex allowed access to the past, so Myhr traveled back to the 20th Century in an effort to prevent the BioWars and to ensure society would continue to develop their creative abilities, while having fun doing it. Myhr found that some of the most talented and fun-loving creative people attended something called a scifi convention...
thus, the adventure began.

ABOUT JAMIE:
Born in the beer capital of the U.S. {Milwaukee}, raised in the Heartlands {Omaha}, and now living in the LoneStar State {Dallas}, Jamie has led quite an interesting life...and in some aspects, it's really just beginning, all over again!
A painfully shy kid, Jamie would escape to his own little world to read adventure novels, spend hours drawing, or build scale models. In high school he found he could become "someone else" by singing in rock bands. In college he put his various talents to use in tv broadcasting as well as starting his own photography business.
Wanting to do something a bit more elaborate for Halloween, in '86 he and some friends started dabbling in special effects makeup. This opened a Pandora's box and planted the seed for the development of a lionman character that would, in '92, come to be known as "Myhr."
'92 also brought a chance encounter with noted cover artist Keith Birdsong, who kicked Jamie in the proverbial butt and started him on a whole new path: illustration.
In order to squeeze into a single day all of the things he wants to do, this introverted {though overly talented} guy has had to divide his personality into two separate and distinct personalities...sometimes, even he doesn't know who he is, or for that matter, what day it is!
