M A R I O

I want it all and in 2007 I will obtain everything I strive for!

About Me

Where do I begin? I resigned from a position in the medical field after 11 years. June 1st will mark one year (time flies) of enjoying life. Well, I'm ready for my next venture. A Q. and A. web-site that I'm very excited about. A very early retirement seemed attractive and I'm fortunate to have that choice however, it's time to get out and about and be pro-active. My family and friends were right; I'm too motivated to sit still. Plus- I'll being doing something I enjoy doing which makes things sweeter.I'm selective not picky in most aspects of my life. I've done some great things in my life but I know... the best is yet to come!I've never married and I don't have kids. I'm certain that fate will bring me a special person into my life. I'm often told that I'm "drama free" and I learned life is much easier when living one day at a time. Laughter is key in dealing with stress and perhaps that plays a big role in my positive outlook. Children of my own? Perhaps some day but I can't predict the future. If I could I would play lotto every week."If you want to feel rich, simply count all the things you have that money can't buy"

My Interests

I enjoy sporting events, fine dining, the theater, the beach, traveling, movies, concerts, drawing, writing and relaxing at home. I also like car rides with the top down and over-night or week-end getaways that are not planned. Spontaneity is always good. And yes- I'm known for giving great, relaxing and long massages.

I'd like to meet:

A secure-minded female who is out-going, respects who they are, has positive energy, likes the finer things in life and is family oriented. Quality people for friendship or more. A positive person who views the glass as half full. If you have a child that's NOT a problem. Honestly, it would be GREAT to meet someone who is looking for a man because my days as a boy are over; all though- the child in me will always remain. A little bit of a contradiction but it works.

Music:

I listen to different types of music depending on my mood or what I'm doing. You want specifics? Okay- Bob Seger, George Strait, Lenny Kravitz, Eagles, EW&F, Madonna, Marvin Gaye, Frank Sinatra, Aerosmith, Chris Isaak, Mowtown, REM and Brooks and Dunn. I blast ACDC driving down a freeway and Sade is great for relaxing.

Movies:

Forrest Gump, Something About Mary, Good Fellas, Rain Man, The Departed, Swing Blade, The Note Book and Wedding Crashers. Hey- where do I write about my crush on Halle Berry?

Television:

Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Boston Legal, Entourage, David Letterman, re-runs of King Of Queens, Real Time and ESPN.

Books:

I subscribe to: TIME, ROLLING STONE, ESQUIRE, NEWSWEEK, MAXIM, SPORTS ILLUSTRATED and ESPN to name just a few. I like to read but I can't remember the last book I read. Hmmm, I'll get back to you on this. :-)

Heroes:

No heroes- I don't recall anyone saving my life.

My Blog

Why add people as friends?

I'm very selective in who I add on this site. I won't add just 'anyone'.I guess that's why I'm a little confused as to why some people accept others as "friends" with no intention of ever emailing, re...

LATELY- From THE WAY IT USED TO BE...

I guess it's only natural to wonder about the future and where my life is headed.  But if there's one thing I know for certain it's this- you can't move forward if you're always looking back. &n...
