About Me

Of course we’re using a valve computer... The Hot Potato Syncopators are a performance band, specialising in 20’s and 30’s swing numbers. Where we are different from any other swing band you’re likely to hear outside rare shellac recordings is the line up of musical saw, a brace of ukuleles and a tea-chest bass, add vocal harmonies, swanee whistles, kazoos, whistling, and theatrical performance, and that’s the secret of the Hot Potato...
