We are a soundsystem, party & night-hosting crew, and musical collective. A group of friends known as Vibrations, now based all over the UK.
We’ve been providing quality sounds, DJs and live acts for over 7 years now.
With an ever-growing soundsystem and dedicated crew of DJ’s, MC’s, VJ's, artists and party heads, events are going from strength to strength!
Good vibes are guaranteed, and music policy is that there isn’t one – expect reggae, ska, dub, funk, soul, hip hop, rock n roll, jungle, breaks, beats and the unexpected!
We’ve hooked up with an amazing bunch of talent over the years including Mad Professor, Luke Vibert, Jake Herbaliser, Dom Blood & Fire, V Jamm Allstars, DJ Rubbish, Bison, Jam Jah, Byd Mawr, Riddimtion, Shlomo, 100% Dynamite,High Pressure, to name but a few.We also seek to nurture and promote local and up-and-coming talent with a solid emphasis on quality and creativity.
The ‘Vibrations Live’ crew consists of a unique fusion of dub and hip hop beats with live vocals, MC’s, trumpet, scratching and percussion - check it!
At last years' monthly residency in Hendre Hall, Bangor, we collaborated with local live visuals crew Anti Detail Squad, and kings of soup Dros Ben Llestri – feeding the belly, vision and mind as well as providing an audio feast! 2006 culminated in a beast of a NYE party for over 600 fancy-dressed freaks and nutters, seeing in the new year in style! We're taking a break from the monthly sessions for a while but watch out for events springing up at Hendre and elsewhere throughout the year!
From very humble beginnings setting up free parties in North Wales and Europe, the soundsystem is now a joy to the ear and a bassy rumble to the tum. It’s rocked the anti-Sonar party in Barcelona and provided many a dance all over the UK, from the rainy valleys and hillsides of Wales to the deepest depths of Norfolk to derelict Little Chefs on the A64! In 2005 we hosted a weekend-long festival in Snowdonia in aid of Amnesty International - blending performance art, DJ’s, VJ’s, film, and live bands in a stunningly beautiful location whilst raising money for a good cause - doesn't get any better...
The Vibrations ethos is basically to rock the dancefloor and have as much of a laugh as possible in the process…..welcome on board!
