THE VICIOUS GUNS

If Debbie Harry & Robert Smith had lovetwins...

About Me

1997: Girl starts band (Tuuli), tours the world. 1997: Boy starts band (The Undercovers...later The Stills), tours the world. Boy meets girl. Music electricity chaos brilliance. Heartache, heartbreak. Girl heads for the California Sunshine. Boy keeps rocking Toronto. Girl re-meets boy and The Vicious Guns are born.
This highly competitive couple challenge each other with everything from coming up with the winning vocal melody or beat to fitting into the same pair of skinny jeans. A musical fusion born out of the ashes of a chaotic boy meets girl scenario...Jennifer and JS inspire each other with tales of their individual journeys. An undefinable union- The Vicious Guns churn out 80s tinged danceable tracks exposing intimate glimpes of a relationship both sweet and sour. Highlighting incredible songwriting and production skills- dark moments and the light at the end of the tunnel, TVG will take you on a ride you won't soon forget.
"Lovers of Cyndi Lauper and Depeche Mode rejoice!"
Cherryblaster 'Zine
This duo of friends (lovers!?) really hit the nail on the head with their interpretation of Cyndi Lauper meets Depeche Mode...awesome production on the demos and killer melodies. Watch out for The Vicious Guns. Comprised of ex members of Tuuli, The Von Bondies (MacIsaac), The Undercovers, The Stills (Roy) and Les Six (MacIsaac and Roy).
